Sixteen Card Challenge

A neighbor in my community called me a couple of weeks ago and asked if I would put some of my cards in our community display case in the middle of April.  I asked how many cards I would need for the display, and she said sixteen.  As I don't just have extra cards laying around, I tried to quickly calculate how much time I had, how many cards I'd need to make per week, etc., then (foolishly?) agreed to take on the challenge.  I thought this would be a good time to use some supplies I've never used and try out some styles I've been wanting to make.

The first card uses the "Royal Stand-Ups" die template by Stephanie Barnard for Sizzix.  The "for you" is from that same set.  The large butterfly is from Spellbinders, and the two smaller butterflies are done with an EK Success punch.  Just 15 cards to go!

Bathtub Card

I'm trying out another new die cut.

On the front of the card, the sentiment is "Birthday Script" from Mama Elephant.

On the interior, the "enjoy" is from Penny Black's "Hooray" set, and the "Be Happy" is from My Favorite Things' "Blueprint 11."  The bathtub, duckie and bubbles are from the "Bathtub Pop Stand" set, and the cat is "Whiskers the Cat," all from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

First Flip-It Card

I made the following card for a neighbor's birthday.  It was my first time to make a Flip-It Card.

The outside is made with Stephanie Barnard's "Circle Flip-Its #4" by Sizzix.  The set includes the scalloped circles in the center.  The Happy Birthday is from Taylored Expressions' "Treat Toppers" - it's a perfect fit.

On the interior/flip side, the Enjoy is from Penny Black's "Hooray" die set.
