Last Birthday Card for 2012?

This may be the last birthday card I'll be making for this year.  I've been so busy knitting that I've barely had time to make any cards.  In fact, the only reason I made this one was because a friend ordered it from me.

The card is basically a variation on one I made in August.  The background die is different; in fact, I just received it in today's mail - it's called "Cover Plate: Circles" by Papertrey.  The center die is "Celebrations" by Papertrey.  The saying (Happy Birthday in Portuguese) was done on the computer and is cut with an MFT Fishtail die.  The paper is from a Martha Stewart Collection.

On the inside I used the Medium Fancy Flourish from MFT; the flower is "Beautiful Blooms" II from Papertrey; and the top of the patterned paper was cut with Papertrey's "Edger Collection #1."

November Birthday

A friend's birthday is tomorrow, and this is the card I made for her.

The paper (from a Martha Stewart Collection) is die cut with three different oval shapes.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts "Big Ticket" stamp set.

In honor of her new puppy, I placed a dog as the focal point of the interior  complete with a little pink bow on its head since it's a little girl puppy.  The pop up is from Sizzix Pop 'n Cut "Scallop Circle 3-D Pop Up."  The "Celebrate" is also from Sizzix.
