My former boss is turning 70 soon. We worked together for 24 years, and he was the recipient of some of my very first hand-made cards. Here's the one I made for his big birthday.
The design is similar to the card I made for my nephew's birthday (in July), though this card has a vertical orientation, and I added his name on a small banner.
On the inside, I used a new pop-up die I just got from Sizzix; the "Celebrate" die is also a Sizzix product. The "70" is from Papertrey Ink.

September Birthdays
I've been busy working on some other crafts lately, so these are the first cards I've made in about six weeks. Two friends have birthdays toward the end of September, and this is the design I used for both of them.
This card is a melange of two cards I did in the past two months: the Sunflower Birthday (August 3), and the Hawaiian Birthday (July 14). I used the Cuttlebug "Scalloped Edge" embossing folder in the background. I then added My Favorite Things "Large Fancy Flourish," topped with "Plentiful Petals" also from My Favorite Things. The polka dot papers are all from Papertrey Ink.
