Nephew's Birthday

Here's the card I made for my nephew's birthday this coming week:

The background design is Papertrey's "Cover Plate: Hexagon" die.  I then used two sizes of My Favorite Things oval stax die, and added the sentiment from Hero Arts "Hip Hip Hurray" stamp set.

On the inside, I used Papertrey's platform die, then cut out and adhered the stamped image of the dog from All Night Media (but don't know the name of the stamp).  The sentiment is from Hero Arts "Hip Hip Hurray" stamp set.

Hawaiian Birthday

A birthday card for a dear friend who loves Hawaii.

I started by embossing white cardstock with a new Cuttlebug embossing folder, "Scalloped Edge," then added three flowers with leaves from My Favorite Things "Hibiscus" die set.

On the inside, I used a Martha Stewart punch for the top edge of the green cardstock, then used Papertrey's "Happy" pop-up die.  The "Aloha" is cut with Papertrey's "Script Alphabet" die set, and the small flowers are the centers from My Favorite Things "Hibiscus" die set.

Musical Thank You

A friend asked me to make some thank you cards that her sister could give to the choir members with whom she works.

I used one of the crosses in the Spellbinders "Crosses Two" die cut set and mounted it onto two layers of Spellbinders deckle edged oval die cuts.  I generated the title sentiment on my computer and cut it with My Favorite Things "Fishtail" die.

On the inside, I used Papertrey's spiral, and attached My Favorite Things "Musical Notes."
As on the outside, I generated the sentiment on my computer and cut it with the fishtail die.

My Aunt's Birthday

For my aunt's 92nd birthday, I started her card with a lovely piece of patterned paper from Martha Stewart.  The flowers are My Favorite Things "Upsey Daisies" die cut.  The sentiment and die cut are from Papertrey's "Celebrations" stamp and die cut set, and the edge of the patterned paper is punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

On the inside, more of the same patterned paper as well as the same die cut flowers mounted onto Papertrey's platform die cut.

Summer Birthday Variation - Part Deux

Another Martha Stewart punch (a Punch Around the Page) crossed my path the other day, so I had to use it as a variation on one of my favorite card designs.  I punched it twice and layered it.

Vegas, Baby!

A friend asked if I could make a birthday card for her sister with a Vegas theme.  Here's my creation:

I started with the dimensional sticker I found in a Vegas set from Michael's.  The sticker is mounted onto a design made with Papertrey's new Sunshine impression plate.  I highlighted some of the sunshine rays with Stardust Stickles.  The suit/scallop edge is punched with an EK Success punch.

On the inside, I used another dimensional sticker for the Lucky Winner and adhered small playing cards to the back of it - the entire unit is then attached to a Papertrey platform die cut.  The birthday sentiment is from Hero Arts "Life of the Party" stamp set, die cut with My Favorite Things "Fishtail"dies.
