March Birthdays

March ended up being one wild, turbulent month. Luckily, I started a couple of March birthday cards before all the madness began. My good friend, Judy, and my wonderful French teacher, Danièle, both received this card, and they both liked it a lot.

This is basically the same design as I used for a card in February - just different colors. Once I find a design I like, I tend to make it several times.

Valentine Cards

I'm late to get this up on my blog, but still wanted to share. I found these adorable kitty & puppy Valentine cards that were originally marketed for children to use for Valentine's Day. I just couldn't resist them, and started to think of how I could incorporate them into something fun.

I ended up cutting out the individual kitties/puppies and mounting them on top of some scalloped circles.

I used scalloped hearts on the inside. The kitty cards had "You're a purrrfect friend" inside. The puppy cards had "You're a grrreat friend."
