Autumn leaves
This is for a friend who is about to take a cruise along the New England coastline to see the autumn colors.

A friend just returned from a vacation to Paris, so this seemed like a great way to celebrate his birthday and his recent trip. I already had the "antique" postcard. I stamped the word, "Bonjour" and added a bit of glitter to the lettering. I stamped and popped up the French chicken. C'est tres chic, n'est-ce pas?
Got this stamp recently and thought of someone who might appreciate this quirky image. When I first saw the stamp, I was reminded of the character, Sally, from "The Nightmare Before Christmas." It's always fun to have someone a little different in my stamp collection. The stamp is from Stampotique, and the design is by Daniel Torrente.

Here's a first for me - I'm starting my own blog. For the most part, I plan to use my blog to more fully join in the ever-growing and evolving rubber stamp community.
I purchased my first rubber stamp in 1985 and, though I have dabbled in many other crafts before and since that time, rubber stamping has proven to be the one creative outlet that has endured for me.
As a start, here's a card I just completed (early) this morning. My neighbor's birthday is Sunday - I hope he'll enjoy this. You'll probably know the stamps as being Hero Arts, and I've combined them with a Cuttlebug background.
Bear with me as I learn the ins and outs of being a blogger. I look forward to sharing ideas and inspirations with you!
